Doghouse to close again

I've just read on their blog that the Doghouse is to close on 7th August. They previously closed in March, then re-opened after fundraisers, but it seems their new lease of life is to be short-lived. As I've said before, The Doghouse will be missed by the Dundee music scene, as they're regularly the busiest venue for gigs in the city... my latest visit was during the Blues Bonanza + things seemed pretty lively.

I'd much rather have a venue like the Dog, than a massive casino like their new next-door neighbours...
