Is it summer yet?? Plenty more live music anyway...
Last Saturday I made it to the Celtic Boys club to see a few bands on-stage, including great sets from Indianapolis and The GetDowns. Each of these 2 provided quality live music in their own different ways: Indianapolis with solid, belting anthems, and The GetDowns with raw energy and unpredictability. Talking of unpredictable, the fighting spoiled things, and I hear the PA blew up later, meaning Sunday's bonanza didn't go ahead as planned...
Live music is buzzing in Dundee as ever, eg: just take tomorrow night...
- Dexters have an Acoustic evening, featuring Beth Wilmshurst + Paula Knight + Rachel Anderson
- Yuppies have Indianapolis + Gravity Graced
- Laings have BOTB final with Clockwork Guns + Sugarhouse Wynd + Dutch Courage + The Stoptracks + One Track Winter + The Debutants
- And where I'll be : Drouthy Neebors, where Gerry Jablonski is playing
See much more on the site...
