A quick search for Comedy on the what's on page brings up a list of shows and household names... Feb, March and April should see you alright for tickling your funny bone. Between them, the Rep and Caird hall feature Jerry Sadowitz, Craig Hill, Jimmy Carr, Peter Powers and Frankie Boyle.
Now, Frankie tops my list - and we have tickets at the ready, can't wait!!! - plus a couple of the others are no strangers to Dundee. Just last year we saw big-faced Jimmy at the Caird Hall, struggling with a dodgy PA system... If you're headed along there this time, better hope they have better luck with the sound. And I remember seeing Craig Hill attempt to cheer up the crowd at a previous Christmas Lights-on event... no doubt he'll again be doing some trademark kilt-swinging.
The Rep has a fair assortment of interesting comical shows coming up: well worth a visit, and it would be good to see more of this happening in the city. If you've got news of any more, leave a comment...
