The next few weekends in Dundee see a range of events: there's a few ongoing exhibitions @ Sensation, Hannah Maclure Centre (Abertay Uni) + Botanic Garden + Discovery Point, plus a few one-offs:

Sat 15th August

• Summer Saturday in Commercial St, Dundee City Centre: face painting, live music, clown antics, treasure hunt, dancers, sports events and more
• All-Day Mod/Ska Event @ Dexters: bunch of live acts and other stuff like stalls, clothing, art, etc

Sat 22nd August

• Lord Provost Youth Parade: 1000 young people from all over the world take to the streets of Dundee
• [We did have listed "The Standard EP Launch" - but turns out The Standard have split up now... shame]
  

Sat 29th August

• Dios Salve A La Reina: Queen tribute band from Argentina @ Fat Sams

Wallace & Gromit @ Sensation

From June until October, Sensation hosts Wallace and Gromit, those famous animated friends - with sets from their latest movie and various themed exhibits.
It's well worth a trip, especially for the kids, who can see the figures, sets, sketches + more... and make their own animations or drawings...

As well as Wallace + friends, you can also see all the usual sense-ational displays, with loads of hands-on stuff to do - the massive head-slide is popular with younger visitors, and look out for the live demonstrations...
